I have long incorporated the “Photo of the Day” exercise into my Photography Lab classes. They are a great way to make sure you are taking a least one photograph a day. They force you to begin to think creatively as you have to find more and more ways to photograph the same thing everyday. You begin to simplify as you become creative, and simplification is the be-all/end-all to great composition. You start to play with techniques you may not otherwise have tried out as you try to make each day’s photograph different from the last.

I've just decided that to further my photography skills I'll be taking on a challenge of my own, based off the PhotoChallenge.org concept. I'll be taking one daily picture and uploading all of them here. Of course that doesn't mean I'll be taking ONLY one picture, but I'll take one with the same subject for a set period of time and see how that goes. And I'll use this blog to publish them since I'm not really looking forward to designing and maintaining yet ANOTHER blog. So there it goes, I was supposed to start yesterday but I can always do it today taking two different pictures. Wish me luck, and I hope I learn something from this.

When you write a comment on a blog, remember your spelling skills. Specially if you're going to emphasize a word using dots between the letters, like this:

I don't really agree with the "ironists" part, I actually find them both very smart and romantic. Totally agree with the "affecting" part. If you pay attention to the lyrics and the emotions behind them you may find yourself on the verge of tears, yet dancing along to the song. "Being boring" and "Jealousy" actually do that to me.
